Concrete vs. Asphalt

• Asphalt is generally about half the cost of concrete.
• Asphalt is more resistant to cracking than concrete in cold weather conditions.
• Asphalt is less prone than concrete to damage from salt and other ice melt spreads.
• Asphalt cures much quicker than concrete. It dries faster than concrete.
• Asphalt does not require joint cracks to be cut in; therefore, making it smoother than concrete.
• Asphalt is more aesthetically pleasing than concrete. See image below.
