Concrete vs. Asphalt
- Asphalt is generally about half the cost of concrete.
- Asphalt is more resistant to cracking than concrete in cold weather conditions.
- Asphalt is less prone than concrete to damage from salt and other ice melt spreads.
- Asphalt cures much quicker than concrete. It dries faster than concrete.
- Asphalt does not require joint cracks to be cut in; therefore, making it smoother than concrete.
